If you decide to paint your rain barrel,,,,,,,

Painting your rain barrel can be fun for the entire family. Whether making it a craft project or blending with home and landscape, the imagination has no limit.

We recommend Krylon Fusion paint or any similar paint made for painting plastic. Two cans will cover a rain barrel. Make sure rain barrel is clean and dry. Do not sand rain barrel prior to painting.

Painting your rain barrel is fast and easy. One needs only mask brass spigot and either remove drain hose or bag and tape using painter masking tape. Place barrel on a drop cloth and spray. Wait approximately 30 minutes before handling.

Please e-mail a photo of your painted rain barrel so we may share with others.
